As early as 1955, Marlo was writing lengthy articles on magic. Frances Ireland had a regular column called "Around Chicago With Frances."
This was on page 55 of the October, 1961 issue. Ed signs it: "To Art Weygandt - May these Blues make you happy" Ed Marlo, 10-30-61"
